Ted Cruz, R-Texas, called out Coca-Cola on his podcast this week for supporting Black Lives Matter after the organization\u2019s Chicago chapter posted in a now-deleted X post a picture of a paraglider with the text \u2018I stand with Palestine\u2019 \u2014 a reference to Hamas terrorists who paraglided into an Israeli music festival and slaughtered hundreds of attendees.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\">After the October 18 episode of The Verdict with Ted Cruz, Coca-Cola \u2014 which owns Sprite \u2014 deleted its language on its website the following morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Earlier this month, Sprite announced a $500,000 contribution to the Black Lives Matter Global Network in a social post committing action in the fight for racial justice. On June 28, the brand debuted a new TV commercial during the 2020 BET Awards telecast showcasing Black America\u2019s resilience, excellence and optimism. The 60-second spot titled \u2018Dreams Realized\u2019 emphasizes Sprite\u2019s commitment to making young Black creators\u2019 dreams a reality and to inspire the next generation to do more and dream bigger,\u2019 a web archive version of the website reads.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The current version omits that paragraph.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Fortune 500 companies like Amazon, Coca-Cola, Sprite, DoorDash, DropBox, Warner Brothers and Microsoft have donated to BLM.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2018On Verdict, we name names and blast corporate America for standing with Marxists who celebrated Hamas\u2019s mass murder of Israelis,\u2019 Cruz said in a post on X on Thursday.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-media twitter\">\n<div class=\"tweet-embed\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u2018For every corporate donor who sent millions to BLM\u2014including Amazon, Apple, BlackRock &amp; Bank of America\u2014do you regret supporting such a virulently antisemitic organization?\u2019 Cruz said on Wednesday\u2019s episode of the podcast.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Do you support Black Lives Matter\u2019s Marxist agenda supporting Hamas? Are you antisemites? Do you support that we need to end Israel?\u2019 he questioned.<\/p>\n<p>Black Lives Matter and Coca-Cola did not respond to Fox News\u2019 Digital request for comment on Friday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On October 11, in response to backlash over its post, BLM Chicago said in a statement: \u2018Yesterday we sent out mss [messages] that we aren\u2019t proud of. We stand with Palestine &amp; the people who will do what they must to live free.
