I have just called to thank those involved,\u2019 Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform after the U.S. Virgin Islands GOP announced the results.<\/p>\n<p>Trump and his last remaining major rival for the nomination \u2013 former U.N. ambassador and former two-term South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley \u2013 were on the ballot, as well as four other candidates who have dropped out of the 2024 race.<\/p>\n<p>The caucus utilized ranked-choice voting.
