President Biden attacked Special Counsel Robert Hur for bringing up his son\u2019s death, but it was allegedly Biden who first brought up the death of Beau in an interview.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to NBC, citing multiple sources, Hur never asked the president about his recollection of his son\u2019s death in 2015 to brain cancer during two days of interviews last October.<\/p>\n

The sources said that Biden brought up Beau\u2019s death, not Hur nor his team.<\/p>\n

Biden first brought up his son\u2019s death after being asked about his workflow while he and a ghostwriter were writing a memoir at a Virginia rental home from 2016 to 2018, the sources said.<\/p>\n

The sources said that during the interview Biden began trying to recall what was happening in his life at the time and he \u2018appeared confused\u2019 about when Beau had died.<\/p>\n

The 81-year-old president allegedly got the date of his son\u2019s death correct\u2013 May 30, but not the year.<\/p>\n

The reported revelations came after Biden lashed out last Thursday at Special Counsel Robert Hur who investigated his handling of classified documents after the prosecutor in his final report noted that the president struggled to remember details such as when his son died.<\/p>\n

\u2018How in the h\u2014 dare he raise that,\u2019 Biden said in a press conference on Thursday. \u2018Frankly, when I was asked the question I thought to myself it wasn\u2019t any of their d\u2014 business.\u2019<\/p>\n

While Hur\u2019s report absolved Biden of criminal wrongdoing relating to his handling of classified documents, it characterized the president as an \u2018elderly man with a poor memory.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n

The report, released last Thursday, described the president\u2019s memory as \u2018hazy,\u2019 \u2018fuzzy,\u2019 \u2018faulty,\u2019 \u2018poor,\u2019 and suggested Biden did not remember when his son Beau Biden died.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018We conclude that no criminal charges are warranted in this matter,\u2019 the report, released Thursday, states. \u2018We would reach the same conclusion even if the Department of Justice policy did not foreclose criminal charges against a sitting president.\u2019<\/p>\n

The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
