{"id":15880,"date":"2024-02-22T06:47:25","date_gmt":"2024-02-22T06:47:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shareperformanceinsight.com\/index.php\/2024\/02\/22\/biden-campaign-trolls-trumps-weakest-operation-in-recent-history-amid-lagging-campaign-cash\/"},"modified":"2024-02-22T06:47:25","modified_gmt":"2024-02-22T06:47:25","slug":"biden-campaign-trolls-trumps-weakest-operation-in-recent-history-amid-lagging-campaign-cash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shareperformanceinsight.com\/index.php\/2024\/02\/22\/biden-campaign-trolls-trumps-weakest-operation-in-recent-history-amid-lagging-campaign-cash\/","title":{"rendered":"Biden campaign trolls Trump\u2019s \u2018weakest operation in recent history\u2019 amid lagging campaign cash"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p class=\"speakable\">President Biden\u2019s re-election campaign is pulling no punches in trolling former President Donald Trump following its \u2018historic\u2019 cash-on-hand announcement and massive fundraising haul for the month of January.<\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\">The Biden campaign said Monday it raised more than $42 million last month and has $130 million in cash-on-hand across all of its joint-fundraising committees \u2014 a figure the president\u2019s re-election team is touting as \u2018the highest total amassed by any Democratic candidate in history\u2019 at this point in the election cycle.<\/p>\n<p>Those numbers compare to just $30 million cash-on-hand reported by the Trump campaign at the end of January, although his campaign has not yet released its fundraising numbers for the month.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018It\u2019s been a tough couple of weeks if you are Donald Trump and also like money,\u2019 Biden campaign official Ammar Moussa told Fox News Digital. \u2018The RNC had its worst fundraising year in decades, is hemorrhaging cash, and now Trump enters\u00a0the general election with the weakest operation in recent history.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2018While Trump and the RNC burn cash paying for Trump\u2019s\u2026 challenges,\u00a0our campaign is proud of its historic war chest whose funds are going to reach the voters who will decide this election this November,\u2019 he added, referencing Trump\u2019s numerous legal defenses being waged in Washington, D.C., Miami and Atlanta courtrooms.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Trump\u2019s campaign fundraising apparatus shelled out $50 million to cover the cost of those legal bills, contributing to Biden\u2019s financial upper-hand.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, Trump\u2019s campaign is pointing to his edge in early general election polls that show him leading or statistically tied with Biden, as well as what they say is the inflow of money from everyday Americans ready for a change.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018President Trump\u2019s campaign is fueled by small dollar donors across the country from every background who are sick and tired of Crooked Joe Biden\u2019s record-high inflation, wide open border invasion, crime and chaos,\u2019 Trump campaign national press secretary Karolina Leavitt told Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Voters don\u2019t want four more years of misery and destruction, and that\u2019s why President Trump is dominating Biden in every single battleground poll,\u2019 she added.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s cash advantage also comes just weeks after Fox News Digital reported on the cash problems and swing-state disarray being faced by the Republican National Committee as its rival, the Democratic National Committee, held nearly three times the cash-on-hand to start the election year.<\/p>\n<p>Fox News\u2019 Brooke Singman and Paul Steinhauser contributed to this report.<\/p>\n\n<div>This post appeared first on FOX NEWS<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Biden\u2019s re-election campaign is pulling no punches in trolling former President Donald Trump following its \u2018historic\u2019 cash-on-hand announcement and massive fundraising haul for the month of January.
