{"id":16228,"date":"2024-02-29T00:46:55","date_gmt":"2024-02-29T00:46:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shareperformanceinsight.com\/index.php\/2024\/02\/29\/biden-after-annual-physical-says-everythings-great\/"},"modified":"2024-02-29T00:46:55","modified_gmt":"2024-02-29T00:46:55","slug":"biden-after-annual-physical-says-everythings-great","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shareperformanceinsight.com\/index.php\/2024\/02\/29\/biden-after-annual-physical-says-everythings-great\/","title":{"rendered":"Biden after annual physical says \u2018everything\u2019s great\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div class=\"paywall has-gated-overlay gated-article-body\">\n<p class=\"speakable\">President Biden told reporters on Wednesday that his annual physical exam at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center went \u2018great,\u2019 tamping down concerns over his health as the presidential election draws near.<\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\">Biden had just finished delivering remarks on how his administration\u2019s policies on fighting crime in communities across the country are working when one reporter can be heard shouting if there\u2019s anything Americans should know following his annual doctor\u2019s visit.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Well, they think I look too young,\u2019 Biden replied.<\/p>\n<p>Biden assured reporters that \u2018everything\u2019s great\u2019 regarding the check-up and that \u2018there is nothing different than last year.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Biden had revealed earlier Wednesday that he was making an unannounced trip to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for a physical exam.<\/p>\n<p>The exam comes after the\u00a0report from Special Counsel Robert Hur\u00a0that claimed the president had significant memory issues.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month,\u00a0White House\u00a0press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated that Biden\u2019s physician, Dr. Kevin O\u2019Connor, does not believe a cognitive test is necessary. She said O\u2019Connor believes Biden proves his cognitive ability \u2018every day [in] how he operates and how he thinks.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-media fn-video\">\n<div class=\"video-container\">\n<div class=\"m video-player\"> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Biden received his\u00a0last physical\u00a0on Feb. 16 of last year, when his physician gave him a clean bill of health in a letter that said Biden was \u2018fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidency.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Biden has undergone yearly physical examinations since the beginning of his term, in line with every other commander in chief since\u00a0President Richard Nixon.<\/p>\n<p>Walter Reed, the hospital used by all presidents for routine medical care and examinations, is located in Bethesda, Maryland.<\/p>\n<p>Fox News\u2019 Timothy H.J.
